How does ADSOVO classify content

Good question. We do not just reference another website or online search tool (without naming names), that would be too simple. We’ve developed our own classification engine.

  1. First, we scan and extract the textual content of the page.
  2. Second, our proprietary semantic and contextual website classifying technology, SureSafe™, uses advanced machine learning techniques to recognize the page content, NOT keyword matching.

How do we make sense of it all?

Not so simple. SureSafe is fairly complex:

  • Classify the page content … by using an advanced content filtering algorithm that combines pattern matching and statistical analysis
  • Maintain scalability … by using machine learning instead of continual manual review
  • Use “fresh” data … by implementing heuristics to discard old or irrelevant data and replace with new data
  • Constantly increase accuracy … through continuous QA, client interaction and data freshness
  • Completely customize … by creating custom content categories with varying sensitivity levels
  • Truly globalize … by scanning content in multiple languages since SureSafe’s classification engine is language agnostic
