How do we implement ADSOVO Ad Tags?
Depending on your website(s), you will receive ADSOVO ad tags to implement on each creative size specified in our Insertion Order (IO). Unless otherwise noted in the IO, ADSOVO ad tags for remnant inventory should always run in your default (lowest priority) position. In the default position, ADSOVO receives only the ad-inventory that would otherwise go unsold—in this way, we do not compete with your other sales efforts. As we are running in your default position, we understand that there are no guaranteed volumes. If the tags running in higher priority positions sellout, ADSOVO will not receive inventory on that placement. There is no risk to you.
Why wouldn’t we simply sell our remnant inventory directly?
In order to protect your usual rate-card pricing, you should never offer remnant inventory at discounted prices to your existing customers and prospects. If your existing customers could buy remnant inventory from you directly, they would have little incentive to still buy at your rate-card prices. When ADSOVO sells your remnant inventory, we sell it discretely on a “blind network” basis, which means our customers don’t know the exact source of the inventory- we protect your identity and thus protect your rate-card pricing.
